Rabbi Naftali Portnoy
received his S’micha Yoreh Yoreh Yadin Yadin from Yeshiva Chofetz
Chaim, the Rabbinical Seminary of America. Since 1988 he has served as
the Co-Director of, and Senior Lecturer at, the Jewish Heritage Center of
Queens and Long Island, an internationally renowned Kiruv Center. Together
with Co-Director Rabbi Moshe Turk, he developed this respected
organization, which since 1987 has reached out to more than 15,000 Jewish
Adults throughout the Metropolitan New York area. More than 1,500 of their
students have become fully Shomer Torah u’Mitzvos and over 8,000 have made
significant strides towards deepening their commitment to Torah Judaism.
Rabbi Portnoy has a deep grasp of psak halacha and has conferred
extensively with g’dolei poskin both in America and Eretz Yisrael on
varied and delicate matters of halacha as they apply to baalei teshuva.
Rabbi Moshe Turk

Rabbi Turk is a warm and engaging speaker who has lectured to both learned
and secular audiences throughout the country and in Eretz Yisrael.
Rabbi Paysach Krohn will be joining us for CholHamoed this year. As a writer and speaker, Rabbi Krohn specializes in finding unusual treasures. In his travels around the globe, he visits Jewish communities, meeting Jews of every walk of life, and gathers their personal stories of unusual occurrences, “coincidences,” and moments of inspiration that affected their lives. Gathering these precious insights, he weaves them into a colorful tapestry, interlaced with Torah wisdom and human warmth. In the tradition of a true maggid, he presents them to audiences who flock to his entertaining and uplifting lectures. Rabbi Krohn has authored the Artscroll classic 6-volume Maggid series (from where much of this biography is borrowed). Also, as a certified mohel in the New York Area he has authored the anthology BrisMilah about the laws and customs of Circumcision.
Rabbi Label Lam, co-founder of Foundations for Jewish Learning and a renowned orator, is a popular Senior Lecturer at Jewish Heritage Center Retreats for many years. A former full-time lecturer for Arachim Seminars, Rabbi Lam has been inspiring businessmen and college students for OhrSomayach International and Hamayan Institute for almost two decades. He brings to his lectures his rich life experience, a profound wit and an infectious love for K’lalYisrael. His insights on the weekly Parsha are received by more than 15,000 subscribers weekly and can be found at torah.org. Rabbi Lam is currently a practicing life coach specializing in clinical hypnosis.
Rabbi Ronnie Greenwald
is an alumnus of the Telshe Yeshiva in Wickliffe, Ohio. He is the Director
of Camp Sternberg, a Member of the Board of Governors of the OU, and
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Women’s League Community
Residences. He also founded a yeshiva for at-risk teens in Monsey, New
York. Ronnie has been a Rabbi and friend to U.S. Presidents and has rubbed
shoulders with a wide array of Prime Ministers, world political figures,
and business leaders. He is an Orthodox Jewish activist who has been
involved in an astonishing array of unorthodox and covert advocacy for
Jewish causes and captive Jews, including obtaining exit visas for
Russian Refuseniks Carmella Reisz and Natan Sharansky.

Rabbi Shlomo Yonason Harris is a noted
talmid chacham with expertise in many areas, including chinuch and
shiduchim. Rabbi Harris was the Menahel and a beloved Rebbi in Mesivta
Chofetz Chaim for almost 2 decades. He has a keen understanding of
teenagers, and they connect with him on a profound level. He is now a Beis
Medrash Magid Shiur in Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim, where he is known for lucid
shiurim, broad hashkafik discussions and a warm personable touch. His door
is always open for some insightful advice and eitza. He is also an
internationally sought after shadchan, with many successful shiduchim
(including from past years of Pesach in Lancaster). As well he serves as
the Rav of the RSA alumni minyan, and is a sought after guest lecturer, at
many different venues.

a good time with structured fun, organized sports, recreation, and of

Zecharia Wallerstein
is one of
the most dynamic forces today on the American Torah scene. A beloved Rebbe
for more than two decades, he developed a keen understanding of chinuch
and how to be mashpia on talmidim. As Founder and Senior Lecturer of Ohr
Nava he has had a profound impact on the lives of hundreds, if not
thousands, of women. He is a popular, dynamic and sought after speaker for
men and women, adults and teens, by communities everywhere.
Rabbi Y. Zvi Weiss a masterful speaker noted for his inspirational and
meaningful drashos is the Mara D’asra of the popular Bais Haknesses Ohr
Hachaim in Baltimore, Maryland. In addition to giving multiple da fhayomi
shiurim, Rabbi Weiss lectures extensively and gives fascinating shiurim to
teens and adults alike on a wide range of topics covering Gemorah,
Halacha, Mussar and Chassidus,
Rabbi Dov Halperin is a noted Talmid Chacham whose published works
include an acclaimed sefer on the Yud Gimmel Ikarim. He was the Founding
Rosh Kollel of the Philadelphia Community Kollel and Mora D’asra in
Yardley, Pennsylvania. He gives shiurim, noted for their depth and clarity
on a weekly basis in Lakewood, New Jersey.
